Mike Schmidt rookie cards have become very valuable over the years.  Phillies fans who admired the power hitting third baseman have been buying his rookie cards and making a nice return on their investments.  Mike Schmidt baseball cards have been popular with baseball card collectors for more than 30 years.  He will always be remembered as one of the best to Mike Schmidt Rookie Cardever play the position. He has become an iconic figure in Philadelphia which makes his baseball cards even more valuable than ever.  Here is a list of some of the best Mike Schmidt baseball cards ever produced with their current values.  Not all the cards listed are the most expensive Mike Schmidt cards ever produced but some of his most memorable.

1973 Topps Mike Schmidt Rookie Card

This is the most popular Mike Schmidt baseball card ever produced.  It is also one of the most expensive.  The Mike Schmidt rookie card is not easy to find in good condition.  Many of these great baseball cards have been damaged over the years and Topps printed many of these cards off-center.  The value of the Mike Schmidt rookie card varies in value based on the condition that it is in.  So what is a Mike Schmidt rookie card worth?  A Mint 9 version will cost you about $900.  GMA Grading has never given out a Gem MT 10 on one of these cards which makes it very hard to tell the value of one.  We believe that the card would sell for around $4,000- $5,000.

1972 Puerto Rican Sticker Mike Schmidt Rookie Card

This is one of the rarest Mike Schmidt rookie cards ever produced.  This sticker is extremely difficult to find on good condition.  One of the things that makes this card such a great investment is that many of these stickers were peeled off.  A great investment if you can find one.  A mint 9 version of the baseball card sold for $950 in a recent Ebay auction.

Almost every Mike Schmidt baseball card is worth grading if it is in decent condition, Schmidt fans and collectors will continue to buy high grade versions of his cards in the years to come.  He will always be remembered as a great Hall of Fame player who dominated his era.
