Kevin Youkilis rookie cards are not just popular with Red Sox fans.  Collectors have started to take notice and have begun purchasing some of the more valuable Kevin Youkilis rookies.  Kevin has become an essential part of the Red Sox potent lineup and has been one of the more consistent hitters over the past kevin-youkilis-rookie-cardfew years.  Some of the most expensive Youkilis rookie cards are much undervalued.  These cards make outstanding investments if they are purchased in premium condition.  Here is a list of the some of the most expensive Kevin Youkilis rookie cards with their current values.

2003 Bowman Chrome Kevin Youkilis

These cards are very inexpensive and are normally found in great condition. Buyers can purchase these cards for around $5.00 online.  These baseball cards normally grade very well.  Buyers should pay close attention to the centering of these cards as many were poorly cut direct from the factory.  Autograph variations of these great cards exist and sell for around $75.  Gold Refractor variations have also become very popular with collectors as they are some of the hardest to find.

2003 Topps Rookie Card

The Topps card is much harder to find in good condition.  These cards tend to have bad corner issues due to blue borders and easy flaking.  Like most other Topps cards, centering can be an issue when it comes to condition.  Most of these baseball cards sell for around $3-$5 ungraded.  Gem MT 10 versions have sold for as much as $85 in recent online auctions.

2003 Topps Pristine Youkilis Rookie Card

What is great about the Topps Pristine rookie is that they are all numbered.  With a print run of only 1499, these are some of the rarest Youkilis RC’s.  Buyers can purchase these cards online for around $5-$10.  These cards were printed on quality card stock so they tend to be found in above average condition.

2003 Bowman’s Best Kevin Youkilis Autograph RC

These signed cards are great collectibles as well as fantastic rookie cards.  Currently these Kevin Youkilis baseball cards are selling for a mere $40.  Most of these unique cards are in good condition but buyers should pay close attention to corner damage.  In many cases corner issues are hard to see due to the card stock they were printed on.
