There are a few different versions produced by Topps in the 2009 Bowman Chrome set that are very popular.  Some of these Carlos Santana rookie cardscards include autograph inserts as well as limited edition colored refractors.  In a recent auction a Gold refractor rookie card sold for $500.  These  cards have all been hand signed and are limited to only 50 cards in production.  The base rookie card sells for around $5.

2008 Bowman Chrome Draft 

This is another great rookie card produced by Topps that also has a few different variations that are very popular with collectors.  Most of these baseball cards are still very affordable at their current levels.  The base card sells for $4-$5, while autograph cards sell for around $125.

2008 Bowman Sterling Carlos Santana Autograph 

This is one of the most affordable Carlos Santana rookie cards in the hobby.  These cards are currently selling for around $25.  Just to purchase an autograph of Carlos Santana privately would cost much more.  These cards should bring any investor a nice return in the near future.

Sanatana has emerged as one of the elite prospects in the majors.  In his brief time in the majors he has proven that he has elite power and amazing bat speed.  It is possible that he maybe one of the top 10 hitters on all of baseball.  Most of the best Carlos Santana baseball cards are still reasonably priced.  The value of these cards will continue to rise as long as he gets the playing time and attention he deserves.
