Kirby Puckett Rookie Cards and Baseball Card Values

Kirby Puckett rookie cards have been some of the most popular baseball cards since the mid 80’s.  Puckett will always be remembered as one of the best all around hitter of all-time.  The Minnesota Twins, Hall of Fame outfielder, could hit for average and power.  Puckett was also known for his glove winning many gold glove awards.  There are many different Puckett rookie cards that are worth money at their current levels.  Some of these great baseball cards make great investments.  Here is a list of some of the best Kirby Puckett baseball cards and what they are currently worth.

1984 Fleer Update Kirby Puckett Rookie Card

This is one of the most expensive Kirby Puckett cards ever produced.   These baseball cards were limited in production and are not easy to find in great condition.  Many of these cards were cut off-center directly from the factory.  This is part of the reason why Gem MT 10 versions sell for a premium.  Currently a Gem MT 10 version sells for around $350.  Cards in Mint 9 condition sell for around $100.

1985 Topps 

The Topps Kirby Puckett rookie is not an easy card to find in Mint condition.  This is mainly due to centering issues and corner ware.   These baseball cards are not particularly scarce.   Mint 9 versions sell for $25 while Gem MT 10 cards can sell for $125-$150.

1985 Donruss 

These are some of the nicest looking Puckett rookie cards.  These black bordered cards are very popular with collectors as well as investors.  Gem MT 10 versions sell for $150 while NM-MT 8 cards sell for $10-$15.  Buyers should pay very close attention to corners and edges as they tend to flake.  Centering can also be a major issue when it comes to 1985 Donruss baseball cards.

1985 Fleer 

Fleer produced one of the nicest cards in 1985.  The Kirby Puckett Fleer rookie card is much scarcer than the Topps or Donruss rookie card.  These cards sell for $15 in NM-MT 8 condition and $150 in Gem MT 10 condition.  These great baseball cards are very affordable and make great investments.

Kirby Puckett autograph cards have also become very popular with collectors.  These cards sell for $75-$250 depending on the print run that exists.  He will always be remembered as one of the greatest players to play the game and wear a Twins uniform.
