1986 Topps Traded Rookie

Their are two different versions of these rookie cards.  The regular version and the Tiffany version which is much harder to find.  The way to tell the difference is the Tiffany cards are glossy while the regular cards are not.  The Topps traded cards are not easy to find in good condition do to black borders and centering issues.  They were mass produced so they are rare at all.

1987 Donruss Rated Rookie #35

This black bordered card gets an A for design, but grades poorly do to thin card stock.  These Bo Jackson baseball cards are normally hard to find centered.  The block borders show every flaw which can be a major detractor when it comes to value.  These cards are not rare and typically sell for $5 ungraded while Gem MT 10 versions sell for over $50.

1987 Topps #170

This retro style, brown, wood bordered card reminds many of the 1968 Topps and 1955 Bowman baseball cards.  These Bo Jackson cards were mass produced and sell for around $2-$3 ungraded.  These Bo Jackson rookies are still popular with collectors because of their affordability.

1986 Sportflics Rookies #40

Bo Jackson Autographs

Their are many different collectibles of the great Raiders running back.  Bo Jackson autographs are the most coveted.  Whether you have an autographed NFL football or a signed major league baseball, buyers can’t seem to get enough of his autographed memorabilia.  Topps, Upper Deck and Panini have also included Bo Jackson autographed cards in their recent products to take advantage of Jackson’s popularity. Some of the combo autographed cards feature him and great Hall of Famers like Barry Sanders, Walter Payton and Jim Brown.

Bo Jackson rookie cards will never reach the value of lets say Jim Brown or Walter Payton rookies, but they are still a great investments.  He will always be remembered as one of the greatest athletes ever.
